Our Dallas Cowboys officially ended the Philadephia Eagles four-year run

Mike & Mike: Eagle "run" officially over

Golic & Greenie discussed the Eagle's game all morning today. They identified 5 outcomes of the game, one of which being the Eagle's competitive run as division top dogs was officially over. The Beagles have been brought back to the middle of the pack, and they have numerous holes. They need the following:

1) Need a running game. Westbrook is a top quality third-down back at best.

2) Need a go-to WR to replace Owens. Reggie Brown is going to be okay, but he is not the stud they need at the top of the rotation.

3) They need front seven help on defense; especially to operate that Jim Johnson blitz. Trotter is playing well, but face it...Adams was cut as a special teams guy from Dallas and is not exactly Fugita or DeMarcus Ware at OLB. They miss Corey Simon, so need to draft a stud in the middle.
4) OL underperforming; they need a couple of guys there. Somebody to replace Hank Fraley if he does not come back from the severe shoulder injury.
Bottom line is the Eagirls are in decline. They have several holes that will probably take 2-3 drafts to fill. Dallas with their once-in-a-lifetime draft from last April is now positioned to compete for the division crown for the next 4-5 years. Gibbs and Coughlin are both superior coaches, so expect the division to become the premier division in the NFL. Dallas might not win it every year, but one thing is certain--the days of Eagle domination are officially over.
