Surprisingly enough, the leading candidate would be former Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson, that’s right, Jimmy Johnson. Johnson and Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones have reconciled long ago, and their friendship is as great right now, as it was in the past. During Fox’s pregame show, Johnson was asked what NFL owner he would like to coach under if he were to return to coaching, and in the end Johnson said “Jerry Jones” this could be a precursor of things to come.
