Bob Brookover, of the Philadelphia Inquirer, reports the Philadelphia Eagles plan to give WR Terrell Owens' agent, Drew Rosenhaus, permission Tuesday, Jan. 10, to seek a trade, according to a league source.

Most observers expected T.O. to get released and that could still happen eventually. The Jets and Bucs are two teams believed to be interested in him, although it's hard to imagine anyone giving up a great draft pick if Owens may get set free. A team wouldn't necessarily have to rework Owens' deal, as T.O. and his agent may realize now that his market value is at an all-time low.
