Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Green Bay, New Orleans, San Francisco, Seattle, New York G, Cincinatti, Indianapolis, Kansas City, New England, New York J, Oakland, Pittsburgh, Tennessee
According to NFL.com those 16 teams have yet to make a single move in FA, and 5 teams including the Cowboys have only made one move. I guess there's a couple teams on the list you can take off, say New York G for signing Madison before FA began, or Seattle for keeping Alexander but I'm just going by their list.
Bottom line is, there are a lot of teams who are just waiting to see what the market is going to be like this year and it just so happens that Dallas is one of those teams. On ESPNs list of FAs there are still 17 of the top 25 players available and 11 of those 17 are at posistions Dallas could use with interest being confirmed for two of the players.
People don't need to be panicking because Dallas is taking the period slow. If we pick up a good coverage safety in the draft or in FA then we'll be fine defending Washington's new WR's who combined had 1300 yards and 6 TD's last year. Don't freak out about that, we have a pretty good secondary that is only going to get better and I'm sure we'll be improving the pass rush too which always helps the secondary.
Don't freak out because of Archuleta (who will make a very good Safety tandem in Was.) or Sam Madison, if rumors are true and we nab T.O. then we'll have a very strong recieving core who can, at the very least, hold their own against these revamped secondaries.
Things aren't bad, just be patient, there's a lot of time left and a lot of FA's who could still help Dallas, they just want to make sure they don't throw money around and overpay anyone. It's frustrating, yeah, but there's no need to get worried or anxious.
