Vinny DiTrani, of the Bergen Record, reports Dallas Cowboys rookie free agent WR Miles Austin is working hard to have a shot at the team's final roster. Austin remains in the Dallas area, working with the other rookies and some veterans at Valley Ranch. "The more I work, the better I'll get," said Austin, who will spend a few days back home before flying to Oxnard, Calif., where the Cowboys will start training camp the last week of July. "I know head coach (Bill) Parcells likes guys who work hard and that's what I do. I think I did all right in the minicamp, but I know with the help I got from T.O. (WR Terrell Owens) and Terry (WR Terry Glenn), I can do even better once we get to training camp." Miles had a chance after the NFL Draft to sign with the San Diego Chargers, but he selected Dallas because of their wide receiver situation.
