NFC East: Eagles woes...
Eagles CB Lito Sheppard isn't certain he'll be ready for training camp.
It looks like reports saying he'd be back on the field for voluntary workouts were premature. Sheppard is a good candidate for value in deep IDP leagues because teams throw at him a lot and he'll make a handful of big plays.

David Akers, who says he's not 100% healthy, nailed a 60-yard field goal at the end of Eagles practice Thursday.
Akers wasn't his usual self after suffering a slightly torn hamstring at the start of the 2005 season. He remains one of the elite kickers in football and is a great fantasy option in the last round or two if he slips that far.
