Dave Shore on ESPN 103-Dallas...

Recap by TrickBlue from a sports forum:

Shore:

(1) Watkins is having a pretty good camp. He is a very intriguing player. He has alot of talent. He seems to be a quick study, he has good instincts and came from a good program. He does need to add some bulk in order to tackle some of the bigger WR's.
(2) Dallas thinks Coleman and Jones can play both safety and CB. With the emrgence of Watkins they are getting more work there.
(3) Henry is looking really good. He can match any WR step for step and also play physical with the bigger ones.
(4) Zimmer told me he is much more comfortable with the 3-4 this year. He said Ellis was doing a good job. They have to put him into all kinds of situations to see what he can't do, then scale the position to his strengths.
(5) The defensive players seem to be walking with a little more swagger this year. They said they were tired of answering questions about the new defense last year
(6) Burnett has looked good, but is not just jumping out to me. Parcells has been personally talking to him and encouraging him.
Vanderjagt apparently wasn't feeling well as early as last night and missed workout today.
(7) I really like Fasano. He can line up in the backfield and can catch the ball really well. He really looks to be a complete player.
(8) Polite will not lose his position. The second day of practice he was hit VERY hard by a LB. He just bowled him right over and scored.
