Mosley Blog: McBriar grabs Player of the Week honors
The blog has learned that Mat McBriar is the NFL's Special Teams Player of the Week. Not bad for a guy who punted three times against the Colts.
He landed his first two punts inside the Colts' 20-yard line and then helped his league-leading average with a 63-yard bomb in the second half.
McBriar will celebrate over a couple of Fosters at his home away from home, West Village.
Remind me to tell you about playing Pebble Beach with McBriar and a certain quarterback someday.
Oh, and I'm giving myself the rest of the day off.
