* I just don't know where Jerry is on the coaching issue now. Who knows when the announcement will be made. We hear next week which is probably not a good thing for any of the previously interviewed candidates.

* I think it sends signals that they were so indecisive and not overly impressed with any of them. In the long term it won't hurt anything, but in the short term it will sting a bit if one of those is chosen.

* There are a lot of things to like in Dallas if the situation is right. If Norv or Wade don't get the job they still have good jobs to fall back on. Neither will want to come here if they don't have some control.

* I have great respect for Jason. He is a bright young coach although he hasn't been doing it very long. He was being talked to about being OC in Dallas when Campo was there. I think he will be great as OC. If he ends up being the HC I think he will be good at that too. I think Norv will be great here. They know Jerry and the drill.

* If you hire Phillips or Singletary there will be problems with Jerry picking the staff. They need comtrol over who they want to work with.
