Jones will present Irvin in Canton

CANTON, Ohio — Michael Irvin asked Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to serve as his presenter when the former wide receiver enters the Pro Football Hall of Fame next month.
Thurman Thomas chose his former coach, Marv Levy, to present him at the Aug. 4 enshirement ceremony. Levy was inducted into the Hall in 2001.
Bruce Matthews will be presented for induction by Hall of Famer Mike Munchak, a former teammate. Matthews was the presenter when Munchak entered the Hall of Fame in 2001.
Charlie Sanders will be presented by Detroit Lions owner William Clay Ford. Gene Hickerson will be introduced by former Cleveland Browns teammate Bobby Franklin. Roger Wehrli will be presented by former teammate and Hall of Fame safety Larry Wilson.
