Tony Romo is expected to get more money than Houston gave Matt Schaub when he signs a long-term contract with the Cowboys.
The Cowboys may wait into the late preseason or even the regular season to aggressively work towards a deal, but Romo will likely get more than $48 million over six years. Marc Bulger's extension with St. Louis should also surpass that per-year average, but could be shorter because he's 30.
