DMN Blog: Cricket's injury clears spot for Tank

The Cowboys didn't need to cut a player to make room for Tank Johnson. Rookie FB Deon "Cricket" Anderson was placed on the injured reserve with a torn rotator cuff.

Of course, this isn't good news. Anderson did a good job filling in for Oliver Hoyte at fullback and is an outstanding special teams player. Fullback, a position of great depth during training camp, is suddenly a major concern with Hoyte still recovering from a neck injury.
