SUPER BOWL POWER RANKINGS: Pittsburgh still doesn't crack the top five
November 12, 2007
Patriots
1. Only a bye week can keep New England (9-0) from winning. The Pats go for victory No. 10 next Sunday night in Buffalo. Pack the parka!
Colts
2.Peyton Manning and the Colts (7-2) are still No. 2 after a loss to the Chargers. It took six Manning INTs and two Adam Vinatieri misses to lose it.
Cowboys
3. Dallas (8-1) can run, pass and play defense. Four more TD passes for Tony Romo, more catches for Terrell Owens and a big win over the Giants.
Packers
4. Green Bay (8-1) and Dallas are the teams to beat in the NFC. Turn back the clock to the mid-90s. All the faces are new except for that Favre fellow.
Giants
5. Despite a whipping at home by the Cowboys, the Giants (6-3) were still more impressive than the Steelers (7-2). Six of seven is not bad.
