Tatum Bell hasn't heard from the cowboys
by Calvin Watkins
There was a recent report on ESPN that Tatum Bell, the DeSoto native, who is now an unrestricted free agent, could draw some interest from the Cowboys. Well, as of today, that's not happening. Someone close to DeSoto's finest said the Cowboys have not made any contact with the running back. However, several teams have reached out to bell.
Also, some of you have questioned why the Raiders would sign Javon Walker to a six-year $55 million deal with more than $16 million in guarantees.
When the Raiders talked to Walker at Raiderland, the organization just decided they couldn't let him leave. Walker wants to be a No. 1 receiver, and doing that in Dallas was doubtful, with Terrell Owens in the house.
So, the Raiders decided to pay up. Also, Oakland believes that Walker, who has endured some knee injuries in the last year, is healthy.
