Grambling State product Jason Hatcher is coming back to Jena.

The former Jena High School football star, now with the Dallas Cowboys, is hosting the Jason Hatcher Football Camp this weekend. The camp runs today from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.

A first-team all-state receiver at Jena, Hatcher was converted to defensive end at Grambling. He is entering his third season with the Cowboys, who took him in the third round of the 2006 NFL Draft.

Hatcher played in all 17 games as an end last season for the Cowboys, who were 13-3 in the regular season before being upset by the eventual Super Bowl champion Giants in the playoffs. He had 29 tackles and two sacks on the season.

This is the second straight year Hatcher has hosted a camp at Jena High School. Last year, about 50 campers attended.
