Cowboys approaching sellout for preseason games

Fewer than 500 tickets remain available for sale for both of the Dallas Cowboys' two preseason games at Texas Stadium, the Cowboys ticket office announced Wednesday.

The Cowboys host the Houston Texans at 7 p.m. Friday and the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday, Aug. 28.

Those tickets can purchased on the Cowboys Web site at www.dallascowboys.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 214-953-1500.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys ticket office is cautioning fans regarding the sale of tickets on game day from unauthorized personnel, according to a club release.

The release said, "Fans should understand that any tickets purchased in or around Texas Stadium parking lots on game days may be counterfeit and not good for admission to the game. Only tickets purchased directly from authorized personnel in the Cowboys ticket office, Ticket Master or online at at the Cowboys website are guarenteed to be good for admission."

Texas Stadium parking lots will open at 3 p.m. for Friday night's game. Stadium gates will open at 4:30 p.m.
