MySa Blog: Jenkins not afraid of Torry Holt
IRVING - Cowboys rookie Mike Jenkins has a message for Rams quarterback Marc Bulger: Bring it on.
St. Louis is expected to target Jenkins Sunday when he makes his first NFL start at left cornerback. The first-round pick from South Florida replaces Pacman Jones, who was suspended indefinitely by the league Tuesday for his latest violation of the league's personal conduct code.
"I'm ready for it," Jenkins said of the Rams coming after him. "I hope they do, so I can show everybody I can play."
What about facing Torry Holt, a crafty veteran?
"I'm used to (defending) T.O. in practice," Jenkins said. "If I can guard him, I can guard everybody else."
