Romo's return is sure to give Cowboys a lift

How much did the Dallas Cowboys miss quarterback Tony Romo? The answer to that will start coming quickly this week when the Cowboys return from their bye to play the Redskins.
Since Romo broke his pinkie against Arizona Oct. 12, the team has struggled and enters the final seven games with a 5-4 record. After the Washington game, there are home visits from San Francisco and Seattle, followed by a difficult four-game stretch to end the season against Pittsburgh, the Giants, Baltimore and Philadelphia.
