Dallas Cowboys running back Marion Barber did not practice Thursday because of a dislocated toe, leaving his status for Sunday's game at Pittsburgh in doubt.

Barber has missed three consecutive practices with the ailment, and head coach Wade Phillips said it was more doubtful that the running back would be ready for the Steelers game.

Barber has rushed for 870 yards and seven touchdowns this season for Dallas, while catching 47 passes for 366 yards and two more scores.
