DMN Blog: Robert Brewster is a right tackle for right now
By Tim MacMahon
One of the reasons the Cowboys liked third-round pick Robert Brewster is because they believe he can any guard or tackle position.
But the coaches don't want to throw too much, too fast at Brewster. That's why he's only playing right tackle, his primary position at Ball State, during the rookie minicamp.
"You play golf? As soon as you start thinking about two or three different things, it gets worse," OL coach Hudson Houck. "It's the same thing with learning a position. If he knows exactly what to do and he's well prepared, it eliminates any uncertainty that he might have, and therefore he can play at full speed and he thinks at full speed."
