Player Update: Bobby Carpenter, LB

Source: RotoTimes.com

The Dallas Morning News is reporting that Cowboys' linebacker Bobby Carpenter is expected to relieve Keith Brooking in nickel and dime packages this season. Carpenter, a former first-round pick, will try to prove to the team that he is capable of playing at the NFL level.

Our View: It looks like Carpenter will get a chance in passing situations this season, mainly because of Brooking's age and the fact that Carpenter's finesse style leads itself to playing only on passing downs. This will only be Carpenter's third season in the league, but as of now he has to be considered a major bust for the Boys.
