Coach Bill Parcells is Considering Sending back-up Dallas Cowboy QB Drew Henson to Europe

In Bill's weekly conference call with the Detroit media (note: being that Detroit is in Michigan) they asked about the progress of Drew Henson. Bill mentioned that he wants to get him some more game experience, and said that Dallas is considering sending Henson to NFL Europe in 2006. He then doubled back and said that it isn't definite that we are going to do that, but that we are considering doing that to get him some more game experience.

Here is a recap of what Parcells said to the Detroit media...

Question: "Where is Drew Henson at right now?"Answer: "Drew is still in a little bit of a developmental area. You know, it's tough to give a quaterback many turns during the season. You know, he was gone from football for quite a while. I think he's improved, he spent a lot of the time in the offseason here working with us. And I don't know what will happen as we move forward here, but I got to get him some playing experience here shortly. And so I think possibly Europe would be a consideration, I'm not saying we're gonna do that, I'm just listing that as a possibility here as we go forward. But I think he needs to play in some games and more than you're able to get in preseason, you know you can't get that much."
