TIDBIT: Quarterback Drew Bledsoe is off to one of the best starts in club history. His 2,019 passing yards through eight games are the second-most passing yards in the first eight games of a season in Cowboys history. At this pace, Bledsoe will finish with 4,038 yards, which would be a single-season franchise record and the first 4,000-plus yard season in club history. Danny White holds the club record with 3,980 yards in 1983. Bledsoe has 13 touchdown passes and is on pace for 26, which would mark the first time a Cowboys quarterback has passed for 25-plus TDs since White's club record 29 in 1983.
