Safety Roy Williams and guard Larry Allen were named to the NFC squad for the 2006 Pro Bowl Wednesday. Both players were the No. 1 vote getters at their respective positions. "I'm happy they made it," head coach Bill Parcells said after learning of the announcement. "You know I'm not allowed to vote for my own players." Williams currently ranks second on the team with 80 tackles to go along with 2½ sacks and two interceptions. The former Oklahoma standout has now made three consecutive Pro Bowls in his four-year career. Allen, a 12-year veteran was named to the team for the 10th time. That ties him with Mel Renfro for the second most appearances in the annual event in team history. Bob Lilly holds the record with 11 Pro Bowl appearances. Two active Cowboys that were named to the Pro Bowl last year: Jason Witten, La'Roi Glover did not earn repeat trips this season. Glover had been selected five consecutive times before this season.
