NFC East: Redskins sign TE Christian Fauria

WASHINGTON REDSKINS SIGN TE CHRISTIAN FAURIA ASHBURN, VA – The Washington Redskins announced today that they have signed tight end Christian Fauria. Terms of contract were not disclosed. Fauria is an experienced veteran that will add immediate depth to the Redskins offense. Fauria, 6-4, 250 lbs., has played in 167 games with 119 starts during his 11-year NFL career. During that time span he has recorded 245 receptions for 2,473 yards and 20 touchdowns. He spent the previous four seasons with the New England Patriots, where he was a member of the Super Bowl XXXVIII and XXXIX championship teams.
