Will T.O. wind up in Dallas?

Keyshawn Johnson was once the poster boy for petulant wide receivers.
But following his debacle in Tampa Bay, Johnson did very little to rock the boat in Dallas over the past two seasons.
Now, the Cowboys may be on the verge of replacing Johnson with the most petulant wide receiver of all-time.
Tell UsSoon-to-be-former Eagle Terrell Owens, 32, is still among the top receivers in the game. In fact, other than perhaps Carolina’s Steve Smith, he’s still the most dangerous receiver in the game.
The flip side is that he’s also capable of the acting like a 7-year-old child who hasn’t taken his Ritalin.
And that’s when things are going well.
Some have pointed to Cowboys coach Bill Parcells’ track record for being able to handle enigmatic players, but let’s remember one thing: He drafted most of those players, so he was interested in protecting his investment.
When he inherited players such as Derek Ross and Antonio Bryant, it didn’t take him long to cut ties. And in case you haven’t noticed, Parcells hasn’t exactly had a love affair with 10-time Pro Bowler Larry Allen, which is one of the reasons we’re about to say goodbye to the future Ring of Honor member.
Owens is a guy you take a chance on when you’re one player away from a Super Bowl. Are we convinced the Cowboys are in that position?
Another popular theory is that Owens needs to go to a team that already has rock-solid chemistry. But I seem to recall the Eagles having pretty good chemistry when Owens showed up.
He actually was a pretty decent teammate (by T.O. standards) until a week or so after the Eagles lost to the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
That’s when he started carving up his quarterback. This had always been part of his routine, but Donovan McNabb had significantly more standing than Jeff Garcia.
Signing Owens will allow the Cowboys to make a huge splash in free agency, but it’s important to remember that there’s a huge downside
