Safety Keith Davis is going to get the best of both worlds: earn $2.1 million and play for the team he's loved since he was a kid.
The Cowboys have decided to match the two-year, $3.5 million offer Davis received last week from New Orleans.
"I wanted to be here. It's a great feeling that they want me," said Davis, "but in the event that I had to leave, then I was prepared to do that."
Davis started 16 games for the Cowboys last season and finished third on the team with 66 tackles.
