3) No less than 100 people around, is that normal. Football is king in Texas, Cowboys all the way. A little crazy for a minicamp but it is exciting.
4) Are you tired of TO talk? Last year I got to talk about Bill all season, this year I get to talk about TO all year. Practices and plays hard. All of the guys I have talked to (except two obviously) they have said good things about him.
5) Bill does a great job telling the team that the media is just part of it, but do the main talking about yourself on the field
6) Bledsoe has his playbook with him. Day one playbook: Installing the offense-1st go through in mini camp. 52 hunt is the play they will work on. 52 hunt hitch-under. 52 is protection, hitch under is the routes by receivers and TE's.
7) Very few audibles in this system. Call two plays in the huddle and choose the play at the LOS-kill one play at the line. Live Color--means we are changing play (Dan jokes Aikman called Blue 88 for 10 years)
8) Most adjustments are made on plays are made on the sidelines (adjustments to routes, etc) and then Bill squashes most of these changes. You can go to Bill with an idea he will say "you can try it but it better work"
9) Most guys that can't follow the playbook on offense don't last very long. You have to be smart to play, unless you are a defensive lineman.
10) At least one expert thinks we can go to the SB: We had some injuries, we beat the Panthers and should have beat the Seahawks. Flozell is coming back healthy. Defense was very young last year, should get better. Henry will hopefully be healthy all year. We should be capable of beating anyone we play
11) I have been hit a lot, but I feel good. Arm feels good. Physically I feel really good this year. 3, 4, 5 more years of playing I hope.
