CAMP COWBOYS

THE T.O. SHOW
Terrell Owens participated in his second and third consecutive practices Thursday, the day after his circus-like return. Again, Owens was plagued by some dropped passes and was playfully heckled by nose tackle Jason Ferguson. But T.O. did have some sparkling moments. The highlight was an impressive leaping catch on a long pass along the sidelines from Drew Bledsoe. Owens made the grab over cornerback Anthony Henry.
THE BUZZ
Reeves' bad day
It wasn't a good day to be third-year cornerback Jacques Reeves. He was repeatedly beaten in coverage during team practice, drawing the ire of Bill Parcells.
One of the receivers causing problems for Reeves was undrafted rookie and camp star Sam Hurd. Parcells told Hurd, "You got his number today."
Glenn drops easy pick
The morning practice included plenty of sloppy play, mostly by the offense. But the defense also got into the act.
Cornerback Aaron Glenn dropped an easy interception on running back Marion Barber's wobbly halfback pass. Glenn was promptly ribbed by the defensive backs on the sidelines.
Bad start
During the team practice in the morning session, the offense allowed four sacks on the first six plays.
Things never really got much better.
Covering your tracks
Pro Bowl safety Roy Williams has produced some nice plays in coverage this week.
Williams broke up a pass in the end zone intended for Pro Bowl tight end Jason Witten. Witten seemed to have the catch sealed near his body, but Williams slapped it out.
Barber getting an earful
Running back Marion Barber is getting in trouble with Bill Parcells. He continues to try and bounce outside when things get jumbled at the line of scrimmage. And bouncing outside isn't helping much.
Parcells said: "Quit running side to side. How many times am I going to have to tell you that this camp? One hundred?"
Barber has also had trouble with fumbling in practice and was told to walk around holding onto a football everywhere he goes.
Injury update
Wide receiver Patrick Crayton missed both practices Thursday. He is expected to miss the rest of the week and the game against New Orleans on Monday.
Receiver Terry Glenn (feet blisters) returned to both practices Thursday, his first appearance of the week on the field.
Kicker Mike Vanderjagt (sore groin) returned to practice and did some light work on field goal attempts.
Spot checks
Wide receiver J.R. Tolver made a nice catch in tight coverage against cornerback Nate Jones in the morning session.
Tight end Anthony Fasano had an impressive juggling catch in the morning session.
Defensive end Marcus Spears appears to be coming back fast from minor knee surgery. He rocketed into the backfield on one play, hitting running back Tyson Thompson for a loss.
Quarterback Tony Romo was wearing jersey No. 4 instead of 9 in the evening practice. Unbeknownst to Romo, the jersey had been switched before practice by former Green Bay Packer Marco Rivera. Romo's childhood idol was Brett Favre, Green Bay's quarterback.
