T.O.
- T.O. never had a hammy problem and that is why he is so slow to get back to practice.
- Expects T.O. to practice tomorrow.
- T.O. and Bledsoe need to get more work together.
- Both Starting WR's are over 30 and are more likely to get hurt.
- If Hammy lingers for a while, people will begin to question why T.O. didn't work out with team in the offseason and do the things Parcells wants his players to do.
- Belives this is no big deal and that the Hammy is just playing mind games with T.O.'s head.
Offensive Line
- No question, Flo is the starter at LT against the Jags.
- Moved Pettiti over to LT because he's probably going to be the swing Tackle (playing both positions).
- Marc Columbo is starting RT as of now.
- Flo could be back with first team on Monday.
- Columbo has been biggest surpise on the line mainly because no one expected much.
- Pettiti changed his body, but it has to show on the field too.
- Fabini's only chance on the roster is if Parcells believes he's better in games than practice.
- Would be suprised if Fabini made the final roster.
- Fabini could be a guy that, if needed during the season, Bill could bring him back (Similar to Adrian Murell a few years back).
Defense
- Ellis looks better than anyone thought he would at LB.
- Wouldn't know Kieth Davis had a bullet in his leg.
- Has been playing great so far, but may lose job to Watkins.
- Weakness at FS has turned into competition which will make it better.
- Coleman has been playing a good at CB and Safety.
- Parcells finally has LBs he likes.
- Carpenter has been playing more inside due to Ellis playing well.
- Carp had 2 sacks in 3 plays in scrimmage.
- Parcells wants to get Carp on the field as much as possible.
Offense
- Fasano has made quickest transition.
- Fasano and Witten have been most productive offensive players in camp.
- Both Julius and Barber can really play.
- Bill wants to split carries between them, based on who's the hot runner.
- If Julius is playing well, he will keep taking reps, and vice versa.
- You don't need a main back in today's NFL.
- There are very few 30 carry backs in the League and Bill doesn't want to wear down either of his backs.
