OXNARD, Calif. - In every training camp practice, Terrell Owens' practice uniform has looked different in some way.

Whether he's wearing different-colored shoes or socks, sporting tights or shorts, Owens has made some kind of variation every day.

But on Thursday, Owens came out to practice with a much different look, sporting a gray sweatshirt and blue athletic shorts as he strolled onto the field some eight minutes after the start of practice.

Minutes later it was confirmed that Owens is resting a sore left hamstring here at the River Ridge Complex.

Cowboys head coach Bill Parcells only discusses injuries during his daily press conference, which took place more than two hours before the start of practice.
However, the injury does not appear to be serious, with the wide receiver possibly able to return to practice as early as Friday morning. Owens, who has been the center of attention so far in training camp, usually is the last player out of the locker room for every practice. After strolling onto the field Thursday, Owens worked closely with the team's conditioning staff, but also had a 10-minute conversation with owner-general manager Jerry Jones on the sideline.
