OXNARD, Calif. -- A look at Dallas Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens' day in training camp Sunday:

T.O. HAS LEFT THE BUILDING: The Cowboys went through their final session in California with a light walkthrough, but Owens wasn't there. Owens, injured receiver Patrick Crayton and other team personnel not going to Shreveport, La., for Monday night's preseason game against New Orleans left camp early Sunday morning to fly back to Dallas.

SITTING ON THE JOB: Owens spent most of his first training camp with the Cowboys sitting on a stationary bicycle, pedaling away the days while the team practiced. Not including walkthroughs like the one Sunday, there were 27 practices in California. Owens missed 15 of them and practiced only 12 times. He went through his fifth straight practice Saturday morning, then after coach Bill Parcells said Owens wouldn't play in the game, the receiver skipped the afternoon session.

WHAT'S NEXT: An extended rest period for Owens, whose hamstring tightened up on him Saturday. The earliest Owens will be back on the field is Wednesday, when the Cowboys resume practice at their Valley Ranch facility after an off day Tuesday.
