Mosley Blog: Vanderjagt is bitter about the way he's been treated
More from the post-game locker room
LB Bobby Carpenter played on almost every special teams unit. In case you're wondering, he was not on the side of field that Rock Cartwright ran back that kickoff. "I thought I had a chance at catching him," said Carpenter, "but I ran out of gas."
We've just had a catastrophe in the press box. The Stella Artois keg has sprung a leak and is the flooding one of the halls. Not sure who's at fault, but Rich Dalrymple was the closest one to the scene...NT Jason Ferguson the defense's dedication to stopping the run is what put the Redskins in such bad positions on fourth down.
The emergence of Jay Ratliff as a DT in the nickel package has allowed Ferguson to rest on passing downs...Vanderjagt is bitter about the way he's been treated the past two weeks. He said it was tougher than missing the kick against the Steelers last season. He also confirmed that he intentionally snubbed Parcells after making the 50-yard field goal in the fourth quarter.
This is the most quotable kicker we've ever encountered. I have no clue if Pete's still moderating.
Folks, I've been asked to leave the press box. For more on last night's game, check out my column. I'm also participating in a chat at 11 a.m. Central time.
For everyone who's been a part of this one, good night from Texas Stadium.
