Parcells' reaction
For the first time during his tenure in Dallas, Bill Parcells will give his players Saturday, Sunday and Monday off.
"This is a first for me," he said.
He also went out of his way to say that some other members of the coaching staff disagreed with how he handled the three days leading up to the game.
He wasn't about to praise Tony Romo, who tied Troy Aikman's record with five TD passes today.
"Yeah I know, but I could have thrown those first two," he said. "I am impressed with the fact that he didn't turn the ball over and he is managing the game well, and that is what he is supposed to do."
Parcells was already looking forward to next week's matchup with the Giants.
"I am looking forward to the next one and I am sure the players are too," he said. "I think we are going to be in it here for a little while, the race."
In an unrelated matter, I just spent a few minutes visiting with Drew Bledsoe. He stuck around long enough to fire a few passes to his children, which is pretty cool under the circumstances.
