Playoffs will be up to Dallas defense period

Lets get real folks. This defense has been touted as one of the NFL's best by alot of people and I am having a hard time accepting this. We have no pass rush, no clue on how to blitz an offense, and we are getting torched by everybody in the division in the passing game. Other teams dont look at our defense with fear. I have seen some posts on other threads touting this defense as more talented than the Dallas defense during the Jimmy Johnson Era. I almost fell out into hysterics on those posts. That defense was feared and kept opposing offenses up late at night figuring out ways to survive that squad. Today they look at our defense and laugh. They see Roy Williams and Co and smile in the huddle and say go deep and they will either interfer with you or you will catch it for a TD. Our defense allows old men like Brunell to become Hall of Famers for a week with the amount of time they have to throw the ball. Brunell should have been on his *** with a relenting pass rush all day long. He is a timing QB and totally a statue at QB and he beats us every year. This is pathetic and inexcusable. We cant sack a QB if our lives depended on it either. We have the most inconsistent defense in the NFL this year as indictive as the record. One week they keep an opponent in check and the next week implode. I just cant put my finger on why our defense shuts down an offense equipped with Steve Smith and Jake Delomme for three quarters on the road and yet let a 45 year old man lead a team to victory without his top reciever. Unbelievable!!! IF we lose to Arizona and they score more than 15 points...everybody on defense should be FIRED! No questions asked. Romo and co however should score between 35 and 45 points in this one, so the defense may be saved. Lets see how good this defense is against the best team and offense this league has ever seen, on Nov 19th against Indy.
Its time for the defense to start winning games and not losing them with pathetic coverage and pass rushing and piss-poor tackling.
