Vic Carucci's Tuesday Huddle

TIDBIT: FIVE REASONS WHY…
…the Indianapolis Colts won't have a perfect season:
•Their defense continues to be far too soft against the run.
•Opposing defenses are capable of taking away their quick-strike capability with two-deep coverage and by doubling Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne outside.
•A struggling opponent, such as the Buffalo Bills, is nearly able to pull out a win against them at the RCA Dome with a safe, ball-control offense featuring a backup running back and a struggling quarterback.
•They still have to travel to Jacksonville to face the Jaguars, who nearly beat them at the RCA Dome.
•If they clinch home-field advantage through the playoffs with a regular-season game or two remaining, they will rest starters rather than risk losing them to injury.
