Romo upset, sounds like a good thing?

Welcome to Blog Happy Hour
As I mentioned a few minutes ago, Tony Romo wasn't himself this morning.

Surly Tony made his first appearance of the season, and there's nothing wrong with that. I think he's annoyed by the fact that Bill Parcells mentioned "limiting" some of his options and trying to simplify the offense for him yesterday.

Romo said he would execute what ever game plan the coaches put in place for the Falcons.

"No one's going 16-0 this year," Romo said after repeatedly being asked about Sunday's 42-17 loss to the Saints.

Romo said several times that the Cowboys needed to limit their mental errors. You might recall Parcells saying yesterday that a wide receiver's mental error led to Romo's first interception against the Saints.

Romo talked Tuesday about treating Saturday's game "as if it's the only game you're playing this season."

Asked how hard it is to play from behind, Romo was defiant.

"I could check the ball down all day [and make the score better]," he said. "I could care care less if I throw two interceptions."

Tony was obviously talking about the importance of taking chances when you're trailing by 25 points.

He said he pretty much knew the game was out of reach once the Saints recovered the onside kick while leading 35-17.

By the way, I received a couple of text messages from former Cowboys kicking great Billy Cundiff, who wasn't pleased that I wrote about his long embrace with punter Mat McBriar.

Off to the Cowboys Stadium Gala.

Hey, someone's gotta cover this stuff.
