Jerry update
Beat man extraordinaire Todd Archer, whose info is much, much more reliable than mine, confirms that Jerry and Stephen Jones left the compound in Stephen's black Benz at about 11:30 a.m.
However, Todd said he doesn't think they took off for Mobile quite yet. We're not counting out hearing from Jerry today, but a statement released through the team's P.R. department is a much better probability.

Jerry's thought process
A wise man who once worked for the Cowboys just provided some insight as to how Jerry will probably make a decision. The wise man said Jerry likes people he is familiar with (Jimmy Johnson, Barry Switzer and Dave Campo) and people who have had previous NFL experience (Chan Gailey, Bill Parcells).
The wise man once said Jerry told him that a college coach has such a learning curve coming the the NFL - Jimmy included - that's it's almost unfair to ask them to do it. Guess that would eliminate Huston Nutt.
