Owens will require more surgery on the tip of his index finger

Terrell Owens will require more surgery on the tip of his index finger.

The second surgery, which is necessary to reattach a torn tendon, will take place in eight weeks. This could jeopardize his availability for May minicamp. While minor, it's more strike against keeping Owens for 2007. Owner Jerry Jones insists the team will retain Owens, but many Cowboys oberservers don't believe it's a sure thing.
