Parcells' demise greatly exaggerated?

SEXTON HAS BEEN WORKING ON TUNA EXTENSION
In response to our Friday night report that some players in Dallas think that Cowboys coach Bill Parcells is going to call it quits, a league source tells us that, as of Thursday, Parcells' agent, Jimmy Sexton, was working out a new contract with the team.
The source characterized the status of the talks as Sexton putting the "final touches" on the deal. If true, it's highly unlikely that Parcells would be walking away -- unless a snag in the late-stage discussions cratered the whole thing.
Stay tuned. Whether he stays or goes, the decision (as we've heard it) is expected to be announced on Saturday.
