Romo benefits the most from Garrett being hired. We never knew last year who should be given credit for good games. Jason will lend Romo a lot of knowledge.
Del Rio was hired from position coach to HC and has some success; it can be done.
Most around the league feel Jason will be a HC in this league one day.
I would hire Norv Turner if it was my choice. There are way too many weapons on this team that were underutilized. I know Norv's system works, it is user friendly. It would be great for Romo to be able to work with both Norv and Jason.
Jerry hasn't contacted Norv as of yet but he does have permission. I think he has talked to Phillips.
Dallas is behind the 8 ball as it is getting late in the game. Whisenhunt has had trouble getting his staff together in AZ.
OC is a critical spot, you would think the HC would like to make that decision. It could be a sticking point with some coaches. But not all coaches in the league have that luxury, it's not just in Dallas. This is why I think Turner and Phillips are the most logical decisions at this point.
I'm surprised Norv has not been contacted yet.
