'Boys pick Johnson to back up Romo

The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports the Cowboys have reached terms with free agent QB Brad Johnson to be their backup for Tony Romo.

Johnson felt "a strong comfort level" with offensive coordinator Jason Garrett, whom he's older than. He should be a good mentor for Romo to fall back on and if Romo gets hurt, a better option than Drew Bledsoe. Mar. 5 - 7:03 pm et
