Cowboys backup linebacker and special teams ace Ryan Fowler visited with Tennessee on Thursday and has a trip planned for Philadelphia, according to his agent Alan Herman.
Fowler, a restricted free agent, also has plans to visit a third unnamed team. He is seeking a three-year deal with the chance to start at middle linebacker.
With the Cowboys, Fowler played in goal-line situations. He had a team-leading 24 special teams tackles in 2006.
Dallas has the right of first refusal on any contract offer for a restricted free agent. But the Cowboys will not receive compensation for Fowler because he was an undrafted free agent when he originally signed with them.
