Cowboys have cash, but will they spend?
Dallas Morning News (registration required): " Arizona's Leonard Davis, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2001 draft, is a possibility. He has played guard and tackle, and the Cowboys liked him coming out of Texas... While players like Jacksonville's Deon Grant and Seattle's Ken Hamlin might be too expensive, Cincinnati's Kevin Kaesviharn, who had six interceptions in '06, might be an option While it is not an acute need, the Cowboys could look at Texans linebacker Antwan Peek, as well as two players familiar with Phillips' defense in linebackers Carlos Polk and Randall Godfrey, who has expressed a desire to return to the Cowboys."
