Fantasy Finds: Glenn injury opens doors

Got a lack of firepower at the wide receiver position? Maybe you've been victimized by Terry Glenn's late admission that his knee is not ready for action.
Well, you know what they say: When one door closes, another one opens.
Everyone assumes that Terrell Owens will reap all of the rewards now that Glenn is out for the Dallas Cowboys' Week 1 contest against the New York Giants. Not so.
It just so happens that Dallas has an emerging wideout by the name of Patrick Crayton. The third-year pro is coming off an impressive season in which he caught 36 passes for 516 yards and four touchdowns in limited action. Now that Glenn is out, Crayton is in.
He could be a free-agent steal for some forward-thinking owner.
Looking for more open doors? How about New York Jets running back Leon Washington?
The second-year man found the end zone four times last season and had a fast start as a rookie. Starter Thomas Jones is expected to play on Sunday against the Patriots, but don't be surprised if Washington gets his fair share of touches and maybe even finds paydirt against New England.
One last parting note: Keep in mind that Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback David Garrard is itching for payback after suffering through the most turnover-happy game of his career against Tennessee last year. He threw for nearly 250 yards and ran for almost 50 more against the Titans last year, but he turned it over four times. If Garrard, taking on Tennessee, can actually hold onto the ball Sunday, he might be a true fantasy gem in Week 1.
