Terry Glenn speaks!!!
Recap by JeffG from a sports forum:
Ed Werter of ESPN just talked to Terry Glenn, per ESPN Radio. He says Glenn tore some cartilage on that first practice back, after the month off, and now has two choices:
1. Surgery that will repair the cartilage and take him out for the season, possibly end his career.(The alternative is to repair the cartilage, which will be the ideal fix but take longer to come back from. If he's rushed back after that he could injure it permanently)
2. Another procedure that will have him back in 2-3 weeks, but could easily expose him to further, much worse injury. (The way he'll play right away is if they remove the cartilage. It's a big sacrifice and it'll be something he'll have to live with the rest of his life.)
It's up to Terry Glenn now.
Werder also said that Glenn told him that he (Glenn) came back to practice too early. His knee never felt right, but after the month off, he felt the need to get back in there.
That is all.
