DMN Blog: T.O.'s fine: $7,500
For using a football as a prop after catching a touchdown pass against Miami, Terrell Owens was fined $7,500 by the NFL today.
Owens' actions violated rule 12, section 3, article 1 (f) of the NFL playing rules which state, "possession or use of fofreign or extraneous object(s) that are not part of the uniform during the game on the field or the sideline, or using the ball as a prop."
Owens said he didn't care about the fine because his pocket book as been hit so much over the years.
