Unstoppable Force vs. Immovable Object

TAKEN FROM A SPORTS FORUM posted by jodyman: In this match-up of the two best teams in the NFC, we will see the unstoppable force meet the immovable object. The Bears defense, as is their tradition, is formidable and gives up points as begrudgingly as the Patriots give out injury reports. The Cowboys roll into town with a high-octane offense that scores points as fast as Roger Goodall can mete out suspensions and fines. The Bears are at home and in most cases when a very good defense meets a very good offense, the defense usually wins. In this case, though, I think the immovable object will be moved. I believe this for three reasons:

1- Tony Romo will be able to handle the relentless Bears pressure better than Grossman will deal with the Cowboys pressure. We all know that the Bears will take away the run, then pin their ears back to come after Romo. That was the formula the Bears used to harrass Huard and Rivers. Romo will respond better than they did and will hit two or three big plays that will decide the game. He will protect the ball better than Grossman, who will ultimately make the mistake (or three) that will seal the Bears' fate.

2- Mat McBriar will keep the ball away from Devin Hester, and thus, neutralize 50% of the Bears point production.

3- Jason Witten. The Bears will take away the run. The Bears will double TO. But then the Bears have two choices: Give Witten the middle of the field, or tie up Urlacher all night having to cover him. Do the former, and Witten will have a big night. Do the latter, and Urlacher's not as involved in the run defense and therefore, it softens just enough for Marion Barber III to beat them.
