DMN Blog: Cowboys beat bad teams? 'It's the truth'
There is a school of thought that the Cowboys' 4-0 start doesn't mean squat, considering that they've been bullying bad teams.
"I can take that," LB Bradie James said. "In a way, it's the truth. We still have to continue to prove ourselves."
Let's do a quick comparison of the undefeated teams' competition. The opponents' records for the four 4-0 teams:
Cowboys -- 3-13
Patriots -- 4-12
Packers -- 5-11
Colts -- 6-8
So you could say that none of the undefeated teams have proven anything. Of course, the other three have won Super Bowl(s) since the Cowboys' last playoff win.
