Hargrove returns to practice with Bills

by Mark Gaughan -- News Sports Reporter

Defensive end Anthony Hargrove returned to practice Wednesday for the Buffalo Bills as they began preparing to face the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football.

Hargrove sat out the first four weeks of the season due to a suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.

The Bills are likely to activate him this week to provide some relief for starting defensive ends Aaron Schobel and Chris Kelsay, who have been on the field more than usual due to the Bills' lack of depth.

Bills coach Dick Jauron said the team has until 4 p.m. Monday to decide whether or not to activate Hargrove.

"We'll see how the week goes for him," said Jauron, who would not say definitively whether Hargrove would face Dallas. "Anthony worked really hard in the four weeks he was off."
